The book I am reading is called The Silent Room, by Walter Sorrells. This book is about a boy named Ozwald, Oz for short, who lost his dead about three years back. His mom finally starts dating again and it just happens to be an all american wrestler from iowa state three years running. This guy is a total jerk, and beats on him all the time. He ends up getting sent away because his stepdad planted pot in his room and his mom flipped. He is in the middle of an island trying to get back home to explain everything to his mom so he can be happy again. Nobody talks about the silent room when your there, once you go into that room, you come out a changed person.

I am still reading The Lake of Souls, I have read 100 pages since last blog. They walked through the portal and are in the gray world. The first problem was they had to face a black panther, the only thing they had to fend him off with was a stick. They kill the panther, and take out its teeth because it has a message on them. Then they had to fight a big ape like creature, which they made a pit of stakes and it fell on. They faced many difficult obsticals before they got to where they needed to be. Then they had to figure away around the dragons on top of that...
April 1st, 2011 The book I am reading The Lake of Souls by Darren Shawn. I am reading this book because it's a book about vampires and war all in one, and it's kind of adventurous at the same time.I have read about 50 pages, due to me, Darren is in a different dimension, a dimension full of crazy and weird places and animals not familiar to our world. This is my favorite part of the book because it makes the book kind of scientific and unreal.

The free reading book I have is called Tunnels of blood. By Darren Shan.
This book is about Darren, who is a 15 year old vampire, who goes on different adventures to develope and perfect his vampire powers. With Mr. Creapsly and Vacha at his side, he is going to defeat the Vampaneeze lord and win the war. They ventured into the tunnel which happened to be a trap, and this trap ended up killing Mr. Creapsly.
On a scale of 1-5 i would rate this a 4. The reason I would rate this book a 4 is because it always has violence on almost every page. It's a hard book to put down because of this, its an amazing series to read if you like blood and violence. so pick one up and read it.

The book I am reading is called Tunnels of Blood by Darren Shan.
I choose to read this novel because it was one of the books in a series that I have been reading at home when I get the chance, there very violent and graphic books about vampires fighting and killing these creatures called Vampaneeze.
The Main Characters are Darren who is 15 in the first few books but ages when you continue to read the series. Mr. Creapsley is the second main character, he is between 180 to 200 years old, because he is a full vampire and doesn't age anymore. They are both nice people, Darren you woudn't find anything different really in a croud, but you would with Mr. Creapsley, he stands out.
The problem has been the same for hundreds of years, to destroy the Vampeneeze.
It's a good book so far, but to rate it fairly i will have to read more into it.

Of mice and men author John Steinbeck
It was given to me in English class
The main characters are George and Lennie, it doesn't come out and say how old they are but there not very old probably somewhere in there twenties. George is a short scronny man and has a temper, Lennie is a big guy who is a softy and he has a mental dissability.
The problem is that they live in the great depression and they need money so that they can buy the ranch they want to live on, but they only get fifty bucks so they will have to wait a while to get it.
This book is okay, it doesn't really jump out at you, but its not boring, it has a fight scene in it so it drew my attention a little bit. I like that it relates to real life problems and real people.
